International Christian College of Manila Phillipines
International Christian College of Manila is a new Bible college which began in June 2000. Now in 2005 they have an enrollment of 100 coming from all over the Philippines, which has a population of over 80 million. In January 2002, the Board of Trustees signed a long-term lease on a prime location property on the main highway in Antipolo, a resort area overlooking Manila, which has a population of over 15 million. The college is currently completing its application for accreditation, a 4-year process with the Filipino government. Currently, ICCM has 5 full-time professors, 14 part-time professors, and 8 full-time staff, including Ross and Cheryl Wissmann. In March 2004, ICCM had 8 graduates. All the graduates are involved in some full-time or part-time ministry in the Philippines or South-East Asia. This year, one is in new church planting and another has gone to Indonesia to work among a resistant Muslim population. ICCM's goals are: Integrity, Christlikeness, Competence, and Ministry Vision. ICCM continues to utilize short term professors in several fields as part of its educational program. Specialists in theological, Biblical, or subjects such as English or literature are also welcomed. In addition to their work at ICCM, the Wissmanns also serve local churches, helping with disaster relief, speaking at national gatherings, plus counseling and encouraging ministers and churches throughout the country The Wissmanshaved served the Lord in Australia, USA, England, and now the Philippines for the last seven years. They are professors at ICCM. Ross was educated at Kenmore Christian College and the University of Queensland, both in Queensland, Australia, and received an M.Div. from Emmanuel School of Religion in Tennessee. Cheryl attended Ozark Christian College and graduated from Cincinnati Bible College (B.Mus.) and Seminary (M.A.), and Emmanuel School of Religion (M.Div.). . Ross and Cheryl have four children: Aaron(24), Bekka(16), Jessie(13), Andrew(10).
