Mid-India Christian Mission India
There are many facets to Mid-India Christian Mission. These include a Christian Day School, K through 12, with classes for blind children, an Eye Hospital, Bethlehem Bible College, evangelism, church planting, printing, Christian literature, media production, disaster relief, and benevolence. Vivert Lall is the nephew of Dr. Vijai Lall who began the mission in 1970. Dr. Stanley Lall, Vivert's father, directs the ministries of MICM at this time. Vivert graduated from the University of Sagar in 1991 with a degree in mathematics. (Also, Vivert excelled at cricket and could have had a career playing for India's cricket teams.) However, following the Lord's leading, He decided to redirect his life and prepare himself for work with Mid-India Christian Mission. To do this, he came to Atlanta Christian College in January of 1992 to further his education in Bible. He returned to India in the summer of 1993. He worked for a year in India and established three "house" churches before returning to Atlanta Christian College. Vivert and Neelam have two children, Monica and Lae Stanley. Vivert's ministries include evangelism, preaching, church planting, and establishing training centers. After a year of Bible teaching at the training centers, these students are equipped for further study at Bethlehem Bible College, The Christian training center on campus is slowly nearing completion. This facility is comparable to family life centers in the U. S. Vivert has an evangelistic team of musicians who travel with him for preaching and speaking engagements, and he is continually receiving more invitations to preach throughout mid-India.
